Flash flooding collapsed a stretch of Highway 151 between Chimney Rock and an old mine site in Archuleta County, Colorado, on Nov. 1, 2026. The National Weather Service's Grand Junction, Colorado, office said in a Local Storm Report that the road collapsed amid rushing water at 2:35 p.m. MST and remained closed as a result.
