Hurricane Trudy weakened into a post-tropical remnant low over the eastern Pacific, and the National Hurricane Center issued its final advisory on the storm at 8 p.m. MST Monday, Oct. 19, 2026 (0300 UTC Oct. 20, 2026). The remnant was centered about 160 miles (260 kilometers) west-southwest of Cabo Corrientes, Mexico, with maximum sustained winds near 35 mph (55 km/h), and no coastal watches or warnings were in effect.

Trudy's dissipation came days after the storm re-intensified to Category 2 strength near its landfall in Mexico, when authorities there updated coastal storm warnings.

The bulletin put the remnant's minimum central pressure at 1005 millibars and its movement toward the north at 2 mph (4 km/h). The center forecast the system to drift slowly west-northwest over the following day before dissipating entirely, with no hazards expected on land.
